PrintFactory wishes to assure our Customers that we do not use Log4J, and hence are not affected by this vulnerability
On December 9, 2021, a vulnerability was reported that could allow a system running Apache Log4j version 2.14.1 or below to be compromised and allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable server.
PrintFactory wishes to assure all of our customers that we do not use Log4J, neither directly in our code nor indirectly in any 3rd party code, and hence are not affected by this vulnerability.
PrintFactory is committed to providing products and services that meet or exceed our customers’ security requirements and to continually improve our efficiency and effectiveness in doing so.

Additional Information:
PrintFactory is a suite of award-winning, workflow software that helps LFPs to work more efficiently today and prepare for more advanced levels of automation tomorrow. PrintFactory Cloud has been designed from the outset as a cloud-based technology platform.
PrintFactory is fundamentally different to some other systems on the market which claim to be cloud based solutions when in fact they are just hosted applications on dedicated servers in a hosting center, with multiple points of failure and potential data security risks.
The PrintFactory platform has been heavily optimized to take advantage of the many benefits of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud platform, some of the benefits include:
- Fast Access to the application from pretty much anywhere in the world thanks to Amazon’s multiple points of presence and CloudFront.
- Ability to scale the processing power up or down depending on load, completely dynamically, again this is unique to a truly cloud based platform.
- Ability to create virtual private clouds, which have direct connections into corporate networks and have no access from the Internet, ensuring secure fast connections to the application. This service can be fully or partially supported by PrintFactory depending on the security requirements.
- Completely secure data storage; we use S3 for our backend storage, ensuring that no data is held on front-end web servers.
